Resources Accessed during this project
During the course of this project, concerning the streets of Loughborough, many resources have been accessed. Where these have been very specific to a particular street, they will be listed on the blogpost for that street. More general sources are listed below.
I have been working on Loughborough street names since 2013, but as the project to make this earlier work available online was commenced on completion of my third book about Loughborough (the completed MSS was delivered to the publisher at the end of March 2020, but publication has been delayed), access to many primary sources has not been available, as libraries and record offices - to name but a few - have been closed during the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, I have relied heavily upon secondary sources of information.
There are a number of types of primary sources, and specific publications that have proved invaluable throughout the project:
